The goal was building from scratch a payroll solution on top of clients' global financial and legal infrastructure.
We've made a web app where companies managers can manage payments to their contractors and employees, using a clear structure that includes branches, departments, projects, payment cycles (they can pay monthly, twice a month, weekly, or create a custom payment cycle for some contractors).
The system also has a time attendance feature that helps to calculate working hours.
We have few roles for admins with different permissions and payees documents management.
I was the only designer and it was challenging to build the system from scratch.
Also, we don't have a business analytic and project manager, so I've taken some additional responsibilities for the product.
My customers (Valapay company owners) asked me to create an impressive concept for their pitch to get this project.
I had only 2 weeks and just their ideas what is product about and what features it's hypothetically should include. I've decided to spent all my free time including weekends to did my best working on this concept because it was a famous client in the fin-tech sphere and it was a great chance to get this opportunity to create a product. Last weekend before the pitch I've caught a cold but it didn't stop me and I spent all possible time to make it the best I can.
Stakeholders have conducted a great pitch and presented the prototype I made and we have won!
